What is required of me?
You decide! While volunteering is welcomed and encouraged, we realize that not all individuals are able to do so, and we welcome you to choose your level of involvement.
Why join the PTA?
It is a win-win for everyone! Hodge Road's PTA helps support the academic and cultural needs of all students through volunteerism and fundraising efforts. Joining also gives you a vote during meetings - some of the things that will be voted on are budget, playground/school improvements, and teacher mini grants.
What does it cost?
Parent/Guardian/Family: $10
Community Member: $10
Faculty: $7
The only way that a Parent-Teacher Association can run effectively is through the energies and talents of volunteers, which means you!
Whether you think so or not, you are so very needed! It is easy to see things going smoothly and assume that your ideas, your thoughts, your time is not necessary, but we assure you that is definitely not the case. We want, and crave, input from as many people as we can. Ultimately it is your thoughts and ideas that make Hodge Road a fun, successful and thriving community of parents and teachers.
Please consider volunteering in whatever capacity you are able! Tell us what your abilities/skills are we will be sure to place you somewhere! We are always in need of:
Committee chairs and members
Interpreters for events
Grade level representatives
Office Assistance
People to take photos at events
General volunteers for any and all programs
