Battle of the Trainers is over. Thank you for all our Trainers, Pokemon, Parents, Students, and Community who participated! This was such a fun event and the PTA is very grateful for all of your participation!
Battle of the Trainers is over. Thank you for all our Trainers, Pokemon, Parents, Students, and Community who participated! This was such a fun event and the PTA is very grateful for all of your participation!
This year, we successfully raised over $3500 through coin wars. Sra Dallos emerged as the winner, accumulating over 50,000 points and earning a Pokémon Party as a reward.
In a twist, the PTA selected the class that ranked last, Ms Busch's class, as the secret winner, who will enjoy popsicles. The competition was fierce among our second, third, and fourth place winners - Cubillos, Russell, and Mena respectively - each securing 22,000 points. Sr Herrera faced the most sabotage on Challenge day, ending up as a human piñata on November 22, with each child receiving a treat for their participation. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers, parents, and staff for their contribution to the success of this fundraiser, which not only raised funds but also provided an opportunity for students to develop strategies and experience the thrill of the daily rankings.

This year, the homeroom that has the most positive points will earn a Pokemon Party.
We also have set a couple situations that will earn special prizes, which will be revealed at the end of the competition.

This year, students will be divided into teams by Region based on their grade (K-5, ECS, and Admin/Specialists), with each homeroom teacher serving as their class’s Trainer! Students will bring in change to either boost their team’s points or sabotage another team. The Trainer class with the highest positive points will win a special reward, and the grade level that raises the most money will earn a popsicle party!
How to Play:
• Bring in your spare change!
• Boost your team’s score by putting pennies and bills in your own Trainer’s Pokéball (online donations count here too).
• Sabotage competing teams by putting silver coins in their Pokéballs to decrease their points!
Example: A student in Ms. Stamm’s class brings in 5 pennies and a quarter. They put the pennies in Ms. Stamm’s Pokéball (+5 points) and the quarter in Ms. Sanchez’s Pokéball (-25 points).
Last year, students had a blast learning about strategy, teamwork, and math. One class led for most of the competition, only to be knocked down on the last day by some clever sabotage. Let the fun begin—may the best team win!

Este año, nos dividiremos en Regiones: cada grado K-5, ECS y Especialistas en Administración, y cada clase tendrá un entrenador (su maestro/maestra de aula). Durante las Guerras de Monedas, los estudiantes traerán cambio para aumentar los puntos de su equipo o sabotear a otro equipo. ¡Habrá una recompensa divertida para la clase de entrenador que tenga más puntos positivos, así como una fiesta de paletas para el grado que recaude más dinero!
